Teen Theatre: In Performance
This intensive and comprehensive long-term program will aid in developing valuable performance skills while working with a professional actor and accompanist. Group-building activities and drama games lead to working on scripted material that culminates in a final performance. Scenes from great works in history are selected and performed, while action is underscored by a live accompanist. Students must be prepared to memorize scripts and attend classes regularly. In this community-building class, parents and guardians are expected to volunteer services such as costume-building, set construction, etc to aid in the success of the final product. Students are evaluated at the end of the session and can be recommended for further studies. Instructor: Laura DiCicco
