Stories are all around us and the way we tell them shape our understanding of events, memories and experiences. When written down, small, insignificant moments can become touching and poignant.
Through poetry, prose, fiction or non-fiction you can find your creative voice at Shadbolt Centre. Our Literary Arts classes offer opportunties to explore the written word at any age. Young writers learn to play with language, teens can experiment with different forms and adults will discover new possibilities within a supportive environment.
Our three Spring Break intensives for children, teens and adults are also a great way to learn, experiment and create with peers.
“Remember always to be joyous when you are singing. It’s the only reason to do it really. That’s my approach … do it for the love of it. Don’t worry about anything else.”
- Holly Denney, Shadbolt Centre Music Instructor
