Arts and cultural activities, such as festivals, provide opportunities for community participation and inclusion. They encourage a mutual responsibility to preserve, sustain, and promote the arts. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of festivals and events with hopes of enhancing the cultural milieu, health, and well being of Burnaby. Each festival offers a unique program of entertainment and activities suitable for the entire family and accessible to all. To provide quality community-based festivals offering leisure opportunities that enhance the well-being of our citizens and the cultural milieu of Burnaby. The festivals will celebrate and enrich our diverse cultural heritage through the inclusion of performing and visual arts experiences.
