Shadbolt Centre for the Arts Adult Community Dance Company
Continuum is Shadbolt’s community dance company for the modern dancer who has a minimum of 3–4 years of previous training, or for the dancer who is looking to get back to dance.
The goal of the company is to provide mature dancers an opportunity to train, dance, and perform in a supportive and noncompetitive environment, while exposing dancers and audiences to the art of modern dance. Dancers must commit to and attend two evening classes a week: Modern Technique on Mondays and Composition on Thursdays, from the end of September to mid-May. There are opportunities to perform throughout the year including a formal year-end performance in May.
