Pre-school Ceramics Programs

Clayworks Preschool (4-5 yrs)  
   Pound, poke, roll and build. Young students create and build with clay. Work is fired and then painted with colours of the child's choice. Instructor: Marianne Otterstrom (F), Carol Hackett (Sa)

 

Childrens Ceramics Programs

Clayworks  
   Children learn basic hand-building techniques such as slabwork, coiling and wedging. The process of firing, then painting or glazing completes each creation. Instructors: Atty Gell (Bonsor), Carol Hackett (Shadbolt Sa), Sabrina Keskula (Shadbolt F)
 
 Pottery Basics  
   These lessons further develop skills in the ceramic arts. Hand-building and wheel-throwing are covered as well as techniques for thrown work, such as trimming, assembling and glazing. Past students are encouraged to re-register. Instructor: Sabrina Keskula
