If you liked Little Shop of Horrors, Izzy the Clown and Leaky Heaven Circus just wait ‘til 39 ... And Ticking! comes to town; the musical that starts on line and goes way off kilter. Full Figure Theatre is in the process of creating this exciting new production; a combination of clown and musical theatre exploring the importance of truth. Sharon Heath, Artistic Producer of Full Figure Theatre, has brought together a group of incredibly talented artists working on the show, including: composer Ted Hamilton, musician/actor Joan MacLean, actors Colleen Winton, Lisa Bunting, Beverley Elliott and Barb Tomasic, plus designer Chris McGregor and Stage Management, Jessica Chambers and Dani Fecko.
39 ... And Ticking! captures a woman facing her biological clock loud and clear when the man she falls in love with already has two kids. What cost procreation and at what risk? A Chorus of Clowns represents her inner thoughts. Jealousy and heartache are expressed through tight harmonies, creative dance and outrageous clowning in 39 ... And Ticking!
